Simon Cowell gave praise The late Jamal Edwards as he reflected on the 31-year-old’s departure on Tuesday night.
As a music mogul, SYCO’s Simon pointed to Jamal’s “innate gift” for spotting talent and praised the SB.TV founder’s ambition.
One’s father – who worked with Jamal’s mother, Brenda Edwards, when she competed on the X Factor 2005 – also sends love to the Jamal family as they mourn the music pioneer who passed away on Sunday morning.
Along with a photo of Jamal shared on InstagramSimon wrote: “I am very pleased to meet Jamal. He is an exceptionally talented young man, very ambitious, a true businessman and gifted with talent.
“I was so sorry to hear of his passing. I send my love to his family. Rest in peace, Jamal. Much love, Simon.”
Below the post, some of Simon’s social media followers wrote kind words.
“May his soul rest in eternal peace,” said one of Jamal.

On Monday, Jamal’s mother Brenda Edwards – who starred on Loose Women – confirmed that he had passed away.
Brenda wrote a statement and shared it with Good Morning Britain today, and it was live streamed by Susanna Reid.
“It is with the deepest sorrow that I confirm that my beautiful son Jamal Edwards passed away yesterday morning after a sudden illness. Myself, sister Tanish and the rest of his family and friends were absolutely devastated. He’s the center of our world,” she shared.

She continued: “As we accept his passing, we ask for privacy to grieve this unimaginable loss. I want to thank everyone for the news. messages of their love and support.
“Jamal is an inspiration to me and so many people. Our love for him lives on, his legacy lives on. Long live Jamal Edwards MBE, MBA, PHD.”

Yesterday, a friend said that Jamal passed away Sunday morning after his last DJ performed at a bar the night before.
‘The details are still unclear but we are told it was a heart attack,’ friend Dwayne told MailOnline.
“He was out DJing on Saturday night and ended up coming home in the early hours of Sunday morning.
“The family is still trying to work it all out, but we heard that his mother found him in his bedroom and called an ambulance.”
The source went to Acton High School with the businessman and said that his family shared with friends that Jamal had a heart attack and was discovered by his famous mother.
Jamal is said to have helped launch the careers of stars like Ed SheeranJessie J and Dave, are the eldest of two children of host Loose Women.
Jamal’s talent as a pioneer earned him numerous awards during his lifetime.
In 2013, he was chosen as an ambassador for youth charity, The Prince’s Reliability and Jamal were appointed MBEs for music services in 2014.
