Simon Cowell talks about retraining Britain’s Got Talent

Simon Cowell looked thinner than ever as he appeared on Thursday’s issue of Good Morning Britain.

In a pre-recorded interview with Showbiz Correspondent Richard Arnold, Simon joined Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams to discuss Britain’s Got Talent in 2022.

Simon, 62, showed off his amazing weight loss in a pair of black jeans and a matching zip up top as he introduced a bit of a new twist to the latest season of the ITV reality show .

Britain’s Got Talent fans will be introduced to a ‘Golden Moment’ element that will accompany the show’s legendary Golden Buzzer.

“I always get nervous before we do the show, what if they’re all terrible?” Simon admitted to Richard in conversation.

“But you’ll see, we have some really good people. And then we have something new, which we’ll call the Golden Moment. It’s new, and I think it’s great.”

Fellow judge Amanda added: “It’s really cute” as Alesha commented: “You really see the artists fighting for their place on the show.”

Simon continued: “I think it’s good that we’ve had a year off if I’ll be honest with you, I really do.

“For me, it was a better show this year. I think the repertoire was better, they prepared better. I mean they used this time to practice more.

“I mean you’re going to see there are some really, really good people,” he added as Alesha said: “People are really yearning to get back on stage.”

Richard then asked: “When you say it benefits from a refresh, is that a step you’ve taken before or would you have the guts to do it before the pandemic if it wasn’t implemented?”

“Yeah,” he replied immediately, but Alesha and Amanda were shocked and commented, “Really?”

“100% correct,” Simon confirmed, before adding: “If you have to.”
