Simon Cowell is reportedly planning a huge bachelorette party in Las Vegas with 10 friends ahead of his wedding to Lauren Silverman.
The music mogul popped the question to his longtime partner in Barbados over Christmas last year while he was on a family vacation with their son Eric, 8, and Lauren’s 16-year-old son Adam, from a previous marriage.
Simon, 62, is now planning to get a group of male friends together to fly to Vegas before the end of the year to celebrate ending his bachelor status in style.
According to The Sun, even his beloved dogs will be invited to the party, along with 10 of his closest friends.
“He’s been a bachelor all his life so obviously the bachelor party will be lavish. No one ever thought he would ever walk down the aisle. Money is not an object,” a source told The Sun.
Simon’s “harem of female pals” are reportedly barred from attending the bachelorette party, meaning his former girlfriend and close friend Sinitta could miss out on a bachelorette party invite.
Simon’s team of assistants are working hard to find a gap in his busy schedule for the wedding, which is expected to take place later this year.
Britain’s Got Talent judge started dating the 44-year-old in 2013 and, despite insisting he would never marry, popped the question on Christmas Eve on the luxurious Caribbean island.
He had a rough couple of years breaking his back after falling off his electric bike and has subsequently overhauled his diet and lifestyle after a stern warning from his doctor.
Simon’s bachelorette party plans come just days after Britain’s Got Talent co-juror David Walliams joked that he had “no real friends” and therefore couldn’t invite anyone to a party with him.
“You know, he doesn’t have any real friends, so he’s probably going to invite any of his showbiz buddies or people he’s worked with that he hasn’t fired,” he told The Sun.
The Little Britain star said he would throw the music mogul a bachelorette party that “would make him cringe” and said he would want to offer the TV star “some laughs and maybe some cabaret”.
