A source told The Sun: “Simon and Lauren are grotesquely in love with each other – unbelievably, lip-locking has brought them closer than ever.”

The insider continued: “Lauren is absolutely stunned and never in a million years has Simon ever answered this question.

“She burst into tears – happy tears – and obviously said ‘yes’ right away.

“It’s important to Simon that the kids are there, because he loves them both and the family they’ve become.
