SIMON ZEBO was allowed to play against Castres on Friday after the disciplinary committee overturned his red card against Ulster.
Zebo was fired because a late tackle with Michael Lowry and was charged with foul play.
But a disciplinary committee ruled that he had minimal exposure, with the actual handling being carried out by Jack Crowley.
That means Zebo is free to face Castres in Friday’s Champions Cup clash, while Crowley is also available after being dealt an additional penalty.
Meanwhile, Munster has signed new contracts with RG Snyman, Stephen Archer, Roman Salanoa, Liam O’Connor and Scott Buckley.
Zebo himself was one of six other players to pledge their futures to the province on Monday.
Diarmuid Barron, Jack Daly, Ben Healy, Keynan Knox, Jeremy Loughman have all joined Cork natives in putting paintbrush on paper for the extensions.
Elsewhere, outgoing boss Johann van Grann Joey Carbery confirmed will miss Castres’ schedule as he continues his recovery.
He said: “He still has some weeks of absence but we are delighted that he is staying at Munster Rugby, he is a big part of the team.
“Unfortunately he got injured in the match against Wasps.
“It’s an elbow injury – he can do a bit of work but it will take a few more weeks.”
WILL BE PASSED
On their less-than-convincing comeback against Ulster, he added: “We won’t be swept away.
“The last time we played Castres away, we lost 13-12.
“The way they’ve come back against other teams over the past two weeks means they’ll be one of the few there.”
