Sinead O’Connor cancels all upcoming concerts in 2022 ‘for her own health and well-being’

Sinead O’Connor has canceled all upcoming concerts for 2022 “for her own health and well-being” following the death of her son earlier this year.
Shane, 17, was found dead after he went missing at the hospital while he was on suicide watch in January.

A statement on O’Connor’s official website read: “We are pleased to announce that due to the ongoing burial process, Sinead has been advised that it would be healthier for her to rest for the rest of her life. back this year and we hope to reschedule performances for 2023 when she feels stronger.
“This has not been an easy decision for Sinead but, in consultation, she must make the decision for her own health and well-being at this time.
“We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to Sinead’s worldwide body of ICMs, who have dealt with this matter with the utmost respect and dignity and have worked tirelessly.
“We would also like to thank our domestic and international promoters for their continued support and understanding.
“Thank you also to the friends and fans of Sinead, whom we have always appreciated for their support and understanding throughout.
“The love shown was a great source of comfort and peace for Sinead.”
Shane has been missing for two days, with police launching a missing person appeal to help find him.
