Jimmy Savile: British Horror Story
Pedophile Jimmy Savile’s furious denial of sexual abuse allegations is captured in cruel police recordings in which he rages that he “never did anything wrong for the past 83 years”.
Known as one of Britain’s most prolific sex offenders, Savile is believed to have had around 500 victims after using her fame, fortune and charity work to evade justice.
Hundreds of charges were brought against him after his death in 2011, but many were also made during his lifetime – but accusers were either ignored or distrusted.
Before his death, however, he was questioned by police about allegations he resented were “impossible and untrue”.
In a new Netflix documentary, streaming from today, the chilling recording shows Savile saying the interrogation “starts to sound like a Mad Hatter’s tea party.”

Surrey Police detectives, interviewing Savile, released her name for the tape, and then Savile raged: “I’m proud that, in 83 years, I’ve never done anything wrong.”
She asked: “Are you sexually attracted to girls under 16?”
He replied in a fit of rage: “Impossible and untrue!”
DC asked: “Have you ever sexually assaulted any girl under the age of 16?”

Savile raged: “Never! Never! Needless to say. Never happened. This is starting to sound like a Mad Hatter’s tea party, this.”
The documentary also unearthed old clips of Savile openly alluding to his sexual violence against women when he spoke to reporter Phil Tibenham.
“You’re always doing something physical like riding a bike or wrestling or something. Are you trying to punish yourself in some way?” Tibenham said.

“Oh, no, not at all,” Savile replied. “The only time you punish yourself is when you’re with young girls. Then you punish yourself because you’re a bad guy. You should be nice to them, you shouldn’t be nice to them. And you strangle them and make them go ‘ouch’ and things like that.”
After Savile’s death, hundreds of allegations of sexual abuse and recollections from eyewitnesses surfaced.
The allegations include children under the age of two and patients of Stoke Mandeville Hospital where Savile, who has donated millions of dollars to charity that allowed him to avoid charges, volunteered to do the porter work.
At the infamous Broadmoor mental hospital, a nurse told of an investigation where the presenter bragged that he had “hidden” several corpses in the morgue. An inquest found his concern for the dead was “not within acceptable boundaries”.
