Sir David Attenborough reports BBC New Earth Experience in London

Sir David Attenborough will narrate a new immersive BBC Earth Experience programme, due to premiere in London next year.

His ‘Immersive Digital Journey’ will guide visitors across the World’s seven continents and showcase footage from the BBC’s Seven Worlds, One Planet series.

BBC Earth Experience, which will arrive at the brand new Daikin Center in Earl’s Court in March, will see footage, including extended scenes, projected on multiple multi-angle screens using new digital display technology best.

Visitors will be able to go on a 360-degree audiovisual journey as they explore dramatic landscapes and come face-to-face with some of the world’s most enchanting animals.

This experience will give visitors a glimpse of species from all over the world, from the spectacular light show fireflies in North America, the snub-nosed monkeys huddled together to keep warm in Asia, and the hungry hamster struggle to keep food in Europe.

Speaking about the new project, Mat Way, global director of live, game and interactive entertainment at BBC studios said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Moon Eye Productions and Live Nation to bring this together. BBC’s groundbreaking natural history content into this amazing live programme. fascinating place in London for everyone to enjoy.”

Seven Worlds, One Planet first aired on BBC One in 2019 and is narrated by 96-year-old broadcaster and environmentalist Sir David.

More than 1,500 people worked on the series, covering 92 shots across 41 countries.

BBC Earth Experience is a collaboration between BBC Studios, Moon Eye Productions and Live Nation.
