Sir Paul McCartney mourns death of brother-in-law who will be ‘much missed’

Sir Paul McCartney paid tribute to his brother-in-law and lawyer John Eastman for his sense of humor and “supreme” devotion to his family after his death.

The 80-year-old Beatles musician announced the news on Instagram – sharing a photo of the couple holding a yoga pose.

He captioned: “Having known each other for over 50 years, it was a very painful time for me and our family.

“John is a wonderful man. One of the most beautiful and intelligent people I have been fortunate to know in my life.

“Not only has he been of great help in my business dealings as my attorney, but also as a friend that he is hard to beat.

“His sense of humor is evident in everything he does and his devotion to his family is top notch.”

Sir Paul, who became the oldest lone chief in Glastonbury after celebrating his milestone birthday this year, said the couple had “a lot of good times together throughout the years”. .

He added: “A lot more can be said about his incredible qualities, but words can hardly describe his passion for life and our love for him. for this wonderful man.

“He will be missed but will always be loved in the hearts of those of us who knew and loved him. See you soon Johnny! “

Mr Eastman is the brother of Sir Paul’s late wife, Linda McCartney, who passed away in 1998.
