A KFC has been branded as the worst in the UK with a long list of scathing reviews from customers.
Fast-food fans gave the Carmarthen branch an embarrassing 2.0 out of 5 based on 195 reviews, which complained about poor service, dirty tables, piles of trash and overcooked food.
The Wales restaurant and drive-thru has so far garnered 31 “bad” reviews and a further 118 “terrible” reviews, reports Wales Online.
However, a small group of 17 customers had a very different experience, giving the KFC a “very good” rating.
In comparison, its neighbor in Pensarn has 22 “excellent” reviews and 20 “terrible” reviews, with an overall rating of 3.5 out of 5.
Bad reviews for the less popular KFC outlet began pouring in a decade ago, just weeks after it opened in 2012.
Some are particularly shocking, while others show the funny side of his “disappointing” performance.
A man from Llanelli called the Carmarthen branch the “worst KFC in Britain”.
He added: “The place is still dirty, the tables were never wiped down or cleaned, heaps of rubbish everywhere and food on the floors.
“Toilets are disgusting. How this place hasn’t been picked up by hygiene standards is beyond me.
“As always, a huge line of 12 people and one person serving, all other tills closed as usual. If there were an award for the worst KFC in the UK this would undoubtedly win.”
One hungry dad went so far as to compare KFC to “a scene from The Walking Dead with greased flesh-eating strays dragging their limbs across the dirty floor.”
Commenting in 2017, he recounted wet and greasy chicken, hard burger buns and dirty toilet floors that made McDonald’s look like “a five-star restaurant.”
Another customer said the conversation among drive-thru workers was “appalling,” while another complained in 2013 about watery gravy that tasted like dishwater.
Other complaints included long waits for what was supposed to be fast food, arguments between employees, and lack of food.
A customer in 2015 referred to two “very rude and intimidating” employees with a “bolsch” attitude, which she likened to extras on the Jeremy Kyle show.

Trouble appears to have continued in recent years, with one diner describing in 2019 “the most bizarre interaction with staff they’ve ever experienced.”
After coming home from the KFC drive-thru to find £12 of her meal missing, she claimed she was told by staff they were “not a taxi service” and to “get the fuck away”.
A local mother recalled waiting 15 minutes for food, during which time she experienced “chaotic” scenes with no organization and “a clear breakdown” between kitchen staff.
Last summer a man said a staggering 90% of his order was missing from the KFC branch and what they had was cold and messy.
A woman claimed in January she nearly slipped due to the condition of the restaurant floor, but managed to cling to a chair as staff laughed.
