Sophie Austin and Shayne Ward gave fans a glimpse inside their unborn daughter’s nursery, as they counted down the days until welcoming their second child.

The Hollyoaks actress, 38, and the X Factor star, 37, shared a sneak peek of their baby preparations with daughter Willow May, five, who even played a role in choosing decorations for the room. of her siblings.

Taking to Instagram, Sophie revealed the nursery is painted in traditional pink.

There’s a white crib and white wardrobe along with pink furniture – and it’s the Peter Rabbit theme.

Sharing a series of snaps with her 184,000 followers, Sophie wrote: “Take it easy with the nursery and love our new set of photos by @icklebubba.”

Posting another photo of the crib with a mobile bunny hanging above it, the 38-year-old said: “Keep it white with rosy cheeks and always Peter Rabbit.”

Speaking of her eldest daughter’s involvement with the decor, she added: “Willow chose the colour.”

Sophie also posted a video to her Instagram story begging her fans for help with pregnancy tips.

Speaking in front of the camera, the soon-to-be mother of two said: “Hi guys. What I’d really appreciate now is if anyone has any ideas, options or recommendations for doing labor, because I’m ready now. ”

Detailing the effects the last stage of pregnancy has had on her body, Sophie admits: “I was huge. My butt has grown. It’s so big, it spreads right out — and acid reflux is real. ”

She continued: “So yeah, any ideas just message me.”

Sophie and Shayne have been engaged since 2017 but were forced to postpone their wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The actress was pregnant with their second baby after an exhausting round of IVF.

She described the time as “emotionally draining” but praised her husband’s support, adding that they went through those experiences together.

“My mental health was probably on the floor,” she said. Without Shayne and Willow… I have never felt so depressed and so low in all my life.

“I think it was Shayne’s positivity and belief that kept me going. I would say, ‘We need to accept this may not happen,’ and he would say no. “

Shayne said to Hi! magazine He never gave up on the couple having more children.

He said: “I always say to Sophie: ‘I know in my gut and in my heart that we’re going to have another baby.’

“There are no two ways about it. It was a whirlwind.
