Southern services suspended due to crew unavailability

COMMUTERS have been warned of train service cancellations and service changes due to crew unavailability.

Southern links along the east and west coast routes are today facing disruptions affecting routes from Brighton and Haywards Heath to Lewes, Eastbourne and Hastings, and trains from Brighton and Haywards Heath to Hove, Worthing, Littlehampton and Bognor.

Where possible, additional stops will be added to the services, with the Southern warning of deviating train times than normal.

The rail operator has urged passengers to check their journey before travelling, and commuters may need to catch an earlier or later train or change trains en route.

Tickets are accepted at no extra charge on Brighton and Hove Buses on the Brighton to Eastbourne, Brighton to Lewes and Brighton to Shoreham routes. Southern services suspended due to crew unavailability
