Species of sharks swim in UK city harbor while locals are stunned by the ‘cool’ sight

Incredible images of what are believed to be a shark in the waters of a British port city have stunned local residents, who spotted the creature walking.
Sam Booth and her son James were walking along the Barbican in Plymouth when they saw the beautiful creature swimming along.
residents who spoke PlymouthLive believed the creature to be a so-called “starry smooth hound” – a type of shallow water shark.
Sam was amazed to see the shark and described it as “cool”.
Sam and her son captured incredible photos that capture the long, skinny shark up close as it swims along the surface of the water with distinctive white speckles on its back.
A 16-year-old local fisherman said he believed the sea creature was a smoothhead shark.

It is not common to see in Plymouth waters, they said.
“They tend to stay on the surface for a while before diving properly again,” added the fisherman.
“I’ve fished the harbor for 16 years and have never seen a fish caught there before, so it’s not common.”
Other locals took photos and videos of the beautiful creature swimming in Sutton Harbor and shared them on social media for people to see.

People shared the post asking if he “escaped” from the National Marine Aquarium.
Others tried to find out what it was.
A year ago on April 19th it was reported that a porbeagle shark had been sighted in Plymouth Marina.
Footage was taken two days earlier and shows the shark thrashing about in the marina.
In July last year there was more footage of a porbeagle playing under a small fishing boat.
