Spencer, 33, is now said to be keen to film her siblings’ final steps in a documentary, aided by brother James, 46, and wife Pippa Middleton, 38, according to reports. .
Michael, the youngest British person to conquer Everest, reached the summit before separating from his group during the descent.
Tragically for his family, Michael’s body was never recovered, although local guides are said to have an idea of where the climber’s body might have been.

“Spencer’s documentary about Michael and his final days is in its early stages and Disney+ has shown interest,” a source said. Sun.

Spencer, who has two children with wife Vogue Williams, 36, wrote about Michael in his autobiography, Confessions of a Chelsea Boy.
He wrote: “His loss has taken a huge toll on the family and over time this has worsened as the circumstances surrounding Michael’s death have never been fully explained.
“James got bad news. With only a year and a half between them, he and Mike were best friends.
“We were not able to say goodbye in person.
“He just lives with us in our minds. On Mike’s birthday, James and I sent Mom and Dad red roses the equivalent of his age – I guess the way our family coped with the loss of Mike was to believe he would move on. with us.

Spencer and his family founded the Michael Matthews Foundation, set up in memory of the mountaineer to support educational projects in Africa and Asia.
