Splatoon 3 gets September release date

Splatoon 3 will be released on September 9th and we got a new trailer showing the gameplay of a full round.
A new trailer revealed by Nintendo shows a full-on 4v4 Turf War battle from the ink shooter – set on a new stage, Eeltail Alley – and follows the launch of pre-orders last week.
Nintendo also announced that the Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion DLC will be available starting today as a free download for Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass subscribers.
First announced last year, Splatoon 3 brings back a familiar mix of competitive multiplayer (albeit with new weapons and special abilities), a co-op mode called Salmon Run, and a new single-player campaign titled Return of the Mammalian. .
It’s been 5 years since Splatoon 2 when the sequel is released. We gave the final game an 8.3 rating, saying that a “crazy and clever co-op mode helps this team-based shooter make a splash.” The subsequent Octo expansion received an 8.8 rating, with our reviewer saying the pleasingly difficult levels made them “wish this had been Splatoon 2’s base campaign all along.”
