Sports Illustrated Swimsuit caught fire after choosing Kim Kardashian as cover model

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit posted a silhouette photo of the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star as a tease Monday afternoon but the magazine’s fans were unimpressed.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit was criticized after it was announced that Kim Kardashian was one of four cover models for the 2022 edition.

The billionaire businessman, 41, will be joined by singer Ciara, 36, Maye Musk, 74 – mother of Tesla founder Elon – and 36-year-old plus-size model Yumi Nu.

According to editor-in-chief MJ Day, the four women were chosen “to headline one of the most diverse issues in the magazine’s history”.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit posted a silhouette photo of the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star on Monday afternoon, but despite the business woman’s acumen and 311 million Instagram followers, fans of the magazine aren’t some impressions.

One user wrote: “This is embarrassing. After all you’ve been trying to show these incredible women every day. This is what you do? Oops.”

Another commented: “KimK is the complete opposite of a naturally beautiful woman. She promotes disordered eating and photoshop because she hates herself. Booo.”

A third added: “Dear young ladies looking at this cover. You don’t need plastic surgery to be beautiful! Skip the cover. There’s a lot of inspiration for women inside the magazine. to be yourself.”

The mogul is pictured in the Dominican Republic during the shoot and is wearing one of her nude SKIMS bikinis, while in another photo she’s wearing a silver half stretch with gloves green when she controls a motorbike in the forest.

Ciara was photographed in Barbados for her shoot, Musk’s photo session in Belize and Nu for her bikini shoot in Montenegro.

One person pleased with the cover model selection is Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson, who has been married to Ciara since July 2016.

Posting a snap of his wife in one of the cover photos, the American football player wrote to his 5.4 million Instagram followers: “You’re not just the most beautiful woman in the world. , that your heart, your kindness, your love for others, your ability to make the world dance, your big time CEO, a wonderful wife and mother! You’ve inspired me! There’s nothing you can’t do!”

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine will publish on Thursday, May 19.
