Jung Ho-yeon discusses visiting the set of Euphoria
Squid Game breakout star Jung Ho-yeon has teased a possible appearance in the highly-anticipated third season of HBO’s hit series Euphoria.
The 27-year-old said she “would love” to appear in the upcoming season of the gritty high school drama during an interview at the 2022 Critics Choice Awards.
When asked on the red carpet if she would be ready to appear on the show, the Korean actress shared about her visit to the HBO set last year, after being invited by Euphoria star Zendaya.
She said, “I visited the set of Euphoria and was very happy to see the set because it has been a long time [since I’ve been on set] after the game Squid.
“It’s weird because I feel so comfortable just sitting [around]. I’m not a team [member] on Euphoria but I feel very safe and comfortable sitting there. “

During the interview, Jung was also asked if there was a chance that she would appear on Euphoria in the show’s upcoming season, which the actress said she “would love to.”
Squid Game director Hwang Dong-hyuk later joked that Ho-yeon could appear in the second season of the Korean survival series as the twin sister of Kang Sae-Byeok’s character.
HBO announced that the brainchild of Sam Levinson has been commissioned for a third season after the huge success of the second season last month.
In an official statement, HBO’s Vice President of Programs, Francesca Orsi, said: “Sam, Zendaya, and the entire cast and crew of Euphoria have brought season two to an extraordinary level. , defies convention and narrative form, while maintaining its heart.
“We couldn’t be more honored to work with this incredibly talented, talented team or more excited to continue our journey with them for a third season.”

HBO has yet to announce when fans can expect the drunken teenagers to return to screens, but many believe a third season could drag on for many more years.
Longtime fans have been forced to wait years for the second season to come out, after production was thrown into turmoil by the coronavirus pandemic.
The third season’s release date could be further complicated by the schedules of many of the show’s breakout stars, from Hunter Schafer to Jacob Elordi.
Glamor stars Sydney Sweeney and Barbie Ferreira are said to have battled each other for the role of Pop Queen Madonna in the upcoming biopic.
The Material Girl singer has been searching for the ‘perfect’ actress to play her on screen and is also co-writing and directing the highly anticipated biopic.
