Stacey Solomon reveals her favorite Mother’s Day – and she gave birth 6 weeks later

Stacey Solomon has revealed her all-time favorite Mother’s Day – a trip to the Flower Market on Columbia Road.

The mother-of-four said the 2019 visit, when she was pregnant with her youngest son Rex, was her favorite motherhood Sunday to date.

Located in East London, the open-air market is considered a flower lover’s paradise – filled with a variety of beautiful blooms.

And it was the combination of this beautiful setting, being with her partner Joe Swash, and knowing their first child was imminent, that made such a special day. .

The Loose Women star, who gave birth to Rex just six weeks later, said: “It was one of my favorite moments, spending time together as a family, walking around looking at all the blooms. flower”.

The 32-year-old will now enjoy her first Mother’s Day with baby Rose, born last October.

Rose and Rex will join Stacey’s oldest children – 13-year-old Zachary and 9-year-old Leighton – on her biggest ever motherhood Sunday.

“Obviously the best thing … is spending time with your kids,” says Stacey.

But those are handmade gifts, not the ones that mean the most to the TV presenter.

The proud mother, who attended the Amazon Handmade store in Soho, London, added: “My ultimate relaxation is getting stuck on some art and craft projects with the kids – that fills me with joy!

“Last year’s Valentine’s Day, we made a plate for Joe with all of our fingerprints. Those are the little handmade gifts we keep forever – I have stacks of fingerprint cards the kids made at school and daycare. “

While visiting the makeshift store, Stacey tried out a macrame stand with skilled artisans selling through an online retailer.

A pop-up will open to launch Amazon’s Handmade Pocket Money Range – a selection of unique and personalized gifts for under £7 – and free creative workshops will be held held there on 9 and 10 March.

Stacey added: “I always buy special gifts on Amazon Handmade, so I’m really excited to help launch the new Pocket Money Series.

“I love that the kids can be involved in choosing something for their mom this year, rather than a partner or parent recalling at 9pm the night before.

“The pocket money goes a lot further today than it did when I was a kid. I used to save up my lunch money to buy a roll of potato chips.”
