The six-month-old cocker spaniel has become the new tenant at Pickle Cottage to house their other Peanut dog.

And in a sweet message, Stacey, 32, explains how they named the new dog.

She wrote: “We called him teddy because Teddy could stand for ‘Theodore’ so we thought it was a special tribute to Theo.”

In the post titled All About Teddy, the mother of four added: “We don’t pick him out but we do say we will take any dog ​​that is suitable for small children and a dog. is different.

“We don’t mind the breed, the coat color, the coat as long as it’s going to be fun and that’s right. And with that comes Teddy.”

Explaining why he was saved, she sadly said: “I don’t know why or how people couldn’t want him or he wouldn’t be ‘good’ enough.

“But he doesn’t seem to be anywhere near the size he should be for his breed and that’s one of the main reasons he hasn’t been kept by the breeder.”

An emotional Stacey introduced her new dog to fans on Instagram yesterday.

Stacey, who welcomed baby Rose last fall, beamed as she clung to her new dog Teddy and her other dog Peanut.

Stacey wrote: “Welcome home Teddy. Last night we rescued a dog. But today I don’t know who rescued who 🥺 We miss you so much Theo 👼🏼.

“I hope you are smiling from the sky knowing that lost won’t be so lonely anymore and a dog that really needs a family now has one 🐾🖤.
