Steam Next Fest Launches in June, Featuring “Hundreds of Demos”

Valve’s next Steam Next Fest, an event where players can try out demos of upcoming PC games straight from Steam, will be held June 13-20, the company said has announced.
Valve promises there will be “hundreds of demos” this year, and while it hasn’t shared what might be playable for the upcoming event, there were a few notable games this past June, including sable and Tom. It seems likely that Valve will sponsor games that are great for them steam deckand hopefully a lot more people will have gotten theirs by then highly anticipated reservations. (Unfortunately, my projected Q3 order availability means I’m very likely to miss out, at least when it comes to trying out games for handheld.)
Scheduling for mid-June means that Steam Next Fest will take place right when E3 normally takes place. While the organizers of E3 have said the fair will not be personal this year Due to “the ongoing health risks related to COVID-19,” they have not announced specific dates for the event.
