Health Secretary Stephen Donnelly is set to meet with Fine Gael TDs and senators to allay concerns within the coalition over the national maternity hospital controversy.
We are joined during the briefing by representatives from the National Maternity Hospital after politicians criticized the government for spending €800m on the hospital being relocated from Holles Street in Dublin city center to the St Vincent campus .
The Fianna Fáil Minister is due to meet with Fine Gael politicians at Leinster House on Tuesday evening.
Fine Gael TD for Dún Laoghaire Jennifer Carroll MacNeill wrote a letter to the chair of the Equality Committee, Ivana Bacik, last week asking Mr Donnelly to come before the committee.
Meanwhile, Fine Gael Senator Regina Doherty has called for a review of the legal documents surrounding the deal.
It comes as Mr Donnelly is due to be grilled by the Oireachtas Health Committee on the same issue on Wednesday.
