Coronation Road: Steve punches Jacob after Amy raises horror

Opening the street fans have branded Steve McDonald an “idiot” for punching Jacob after Amy’s horrifying blow.

Steve, played by Simon Gregson, was on fire after he discovered his daughter Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) had been cast in horror scenes and immediately blamed Jacob Hay (Jack James) Ryan) after what happened.

Amy had kept her romance with the ex-drug dealer a secret, but Steve was dumbfounded when he learned what had happened to his daughter – and Jacob was there when it happened.

So when the couple crossed the street in the hospital in tonight’s episode, Steve saw red.

However, fans who watched the scenes unfold were left disappointed by Steve’s mistake.

Actor Jack previously explained what caused Steve to see red.

“Amy’s drinks have skyrocketed and lots of fingers are pointed at Jacob, which is understandable given his past with drugs. All Jacob wants to do is see Amy but Steve wants him out of the way. nothing to do with my daughter,” he said. up at that time.
