One archeology critic called Stonehenge an “inflated cairn” – then slammed the iconic landmark for its poor cell phone signal.
The Tripadvisor reviewer was less than impressed with a visit to the prehistoric monument on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire.
The world-famous tourist hotspot was one of several places to be awarded one-star ratings from picky visitors.
More than two Millions of reviews have been disapproved or removed by Tripadvisor for reasons such as fraud, bias and violation of community standards – but these have remained.

The seaside resort of Blackpool came in for a serious hit, with one tourist describing his visit as “traumatizing”.

Not even a trip to the famous tower could change things.
“We essentially paid to queue for an elevator, watch a five-minute 3D commercial, and then walk around and admire the view I have from parking in a multi-story parking garage,” they continued.

The extraordinary discovery – kept top secret until 2021 – was explained in a BBC documentary on Friday.
