‘Stop messing around, a **hole… this can’t be’ – Sergio Aguero reveals a message from Lionel Messi during Real Madrid’s remarkable win

As football fans around the world watched in disbelief as Real Madrid staged a magnificent comeback to defeat Manchester City in the Champions League, Lionel Messi was among them.
Former Argentina striker Sergio Agüero revealed during the semi-final second leg that his old team-mate had told him to stop “joking around” because Los Blancos were sure not to win.
ESPN hired Aguero to commentate on the game alongside Carlos Tevez and Oscar Ruggeri, and the ex-City star revealed a text from Messi at the start of extra time.
“Stop screwing around, a **hole… this can’t be,” Aguero read.
“It’s crazy, you can’t win a game like this anymore,” added Tevez before Real took the lead through Karim Benzema’s penalty in extra time.
Ahead of the game, Aguero admitted his fears that his old side would end up at the Bernabeu at the end of a spectacular performance by Madrid.
“I want to say I’m really nervous, I don’t know why but I’m nervous,” he told the live stream. “I want City to come through… I don’t know what Pep has up his sleeve, I assume he hasn’t slept all night, I know him.”
And so it turned out that Riyad Mahrez’s late goal was canceled out by Rodrygo goals in added time before Benzema’s penalty sealed the impressive turnaround.
