Plane stops landing at Gatwick Airport during Hurricane Eunice

Loganair canceled more than 30 flights today as Storm Eunice continues to wreak havoc, with Met Office Issue weather warnings including Red alert in parts of UK.

The airline mainly serves domestic UK routes and has canceled flights from airports in London, Birmingham Manchester, Aberdeen, Liverpool and more.

The company has published the full list of canceled flights – you can see the full list of flights below – and said in a statement released on its website that all customers influence will be contacted.

It added: “If your flight is not on the list, it is scheduled to operate as normal, but please continue to check the flight status. We thank you for your patience and understanding. Friend.”

It’s not the airline with the canceled flights. British Airways canceled 80 flights from London airports such as London City and London Heathrow.

Meanwhile, airlines such as TUI and Jet2 have issued warnings to passengers that there may be flight disruptions, and urged people to check the status of their flights.

If you are traveling and your flight is delayed by more than two hours, your airline is legally obligated to provide you with two free phone calls/emails/fax, meals and refreshments , and also offers free hotel accommodation if you’re required to stay overnight.

Unfortunately, you’re unlikely to receive compensation for a delayed or canceled flight, as airlines don’t have to pay when cancellations are caused by inclement weather.

Some airlines already offer options like rebooking and refunds. Check the status of your flight before you depart for the airport – and be prepared for some delays.
