Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life launches outside of Japan in June

Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life will be released on June 27th in Europe and Australia.

This applies to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.

The game will be released in Japan tomorrow, but so far the release outside of Japan has simply been summer 2023.

The release date announcement was shared above with a new trailer showcasing paper artwork by Japanese artist Shinrashinge.

Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life is a re-release of the 2003 GameCube game Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life.

Just like other games in the series, players must take responsibility for developing their own farm: harvesting crops, caring for animals and dating the locals. In this game in particular, players are raising a child to eventually take over the farm themselves.

The news of this release on current consoles came in September last year. It will bring a range of new features including new events, expanded festivals, and more plants and recipes.

The name change from the original game is consistent with the change in publishing rights of the Harvest Moon series.
