Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn makes US TV talk show debut

Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn made his US television talk show debut after appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The British actor, who plays Eddie Munson on the hit Netflix show, has revealed how his character recently got him out of trouble with US immigration services.

He was greeted with shouts of delight from the audience as he shyly entered the show.

Quinn later told the Fallon host that he almost didn’t make it to the country.

“Yesterday I was detained on immigration… and I was put in, I guess you could call it more like a dungeon.

“And I waited about 20 minutes and then I was summoned to this table, where someone asked me, ‘What are you doing in the United States, sir?’

“I said, I actually came here to see Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. And he doesn’t believe me.

“And one of his colleagues looked at him, looked at me and said ‘leave Eddie alone.

He continued: “And then he said ‘that’s Eddie from Stranger Things’ and he was like ‘Are you Eddie Munson? … Will you be back next season?

“I was like I didn’t (shrugs)… and he said ‘you’re better’ and handed me the passport.”
