Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp is openly gay
Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp has come out as gay.
He is the actor, 18, who shared the news online with fans in a video posted to his TikTok account on Thursday, after telling his friends and family.
“When I finally told my friends and family that I was gay after 18 years of being scared in the closet and all they said was ‘we know’,” he wrote in the video.

Schnapp rose to fame playing Will Byers on the hit Netflix show, alongside Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, and David Harbor.
His performance earned him the People’s Male TV Star Award in 2022.
After the final two episodes of the final season of Stranger Things season four, Schnapp told US magazine Variety that his character is gay and in love with his best friend Mike, played by Finn Wolfhard.
“I guess I’m more like Will than I thought,” the actor captioned his TikTok video.
