Neither Janette nor Aljaž will compete as professionals at this year’s Strictly Come Dancing after the Slovenian dancer followed in his wife’s footsteps and left the show last month.
The 32-year-old teased in a statement on social media that he had “a lot of exciting things planned for the future” following his departure from Strictly – which he joined in 2013.
And as Janette broke her silence on the big news, she said: “I can’t express the sadness in my heart to see it [Aljaž] say goodbye to Strictly.”
