Stunning lineup for Naul’s “Garden Party” this summer at the Seamus Ennis Arts Center

One of County Dublin’s ‘best kept secrets’, the Séamus Ennis Arts Centre, Naul, has just announced the ‘stunning’ line-up for this year’s highly anticipated ‘Garden Party’.

he Garden Party is a series of al fresco summer concerts taking place under the shelter of the venue’s specially designed stretch tent and stage in the heart of the picturesque village of Naul, County Dublin.

The Garden Party offers a unique opportunity to experience intimate concerts featuring some of Ireland’s most popular music acts as well as a variety of comedy and film events throughout the long summer nights.

Among the acts announced today, ahead of the opening of his new Fishtown area at this year’s Electric Picnic Festival, the legendary Jerry Fish will perform with his Electric Sideshow on Friday, May 27th.

On Saturday 11th June The Stunning will be “Brewing Up a Storm” at the Fingal venue followed by a performance by Irish indie rockers Bell X1 on Saturday 25th June.

Meanwhile, fans of soul and blues will be in for a treat as The Rob Strong Band hosts a night of live music and dancing on Saturday 9th July.

Also in attendance are Irish folk duo The Lost Brothers, who will play on Saturday 23rd July, as well as legendary folk singer-songwriter Paul Brady, who will take the stage on Friday 12th August.

Rounding out the summer series is Atlantic Arc, Donal Lunny’s nine-piece traditional music ensemble, who will play on Saturday 20th August.

For comedy fans, Neil Delamere will be taking to the stage with his new stand-up show ‘Liminal’ on Friday 10th June and will be bringing some very special guests with him to the evening.

Also, award-winning musical comedian David O’Doherty will bring his new show Whoa is Me to the Garden Party stage on Friday, July 2nd with some special guests.

On Wednesday, June 29th, the venue will host “Irlando-Québécois,” a night of live Irish and French-Canadian music and dancing.

The Garden Party’s outdoor big screen will host a night of classic cinema on Saturday 13 August, with a film screening followed by live music and dancing. On the afternoon of Sunday 14th August, children big and small will have the opportunity to see a classic family film on the big screen.

Deirdre Roche, Director of The Séamus Ennis Arts Centre, said: “As our communities emerge from the isolation of the past two years, there has never been such a hunger for the return of live music events.

“This year’s line-up is a gathering of some of Ireland’s best-loved musical legends in a totally unique and intimate setting.

“The venue offers ticket holders a full night of live music, food options and a full bar on site. We look forward to the audience.”
