Selling Sunset star Mary Fitzgerald has admitted that Jason Oppenheim and Chrishell Stause’s breakup ‘wasn’t fun’.
Chrishell and her boss Jason called it their romance that ended last December after a few months of being together.
Jason acknowledged the split on Instagram and said they had “different desires for a family”.
However, the 44-year-old businessman also added that he thinks Chrishell, 40, is the “best girlfriend” he has ever had.
He wrote: “Even though Chrishell and I are no longer together, we are still best friends and we will always love and support each other. She is the best girlfriend I have ever had, and that’s it. is my happiest and most fulfilling relationship life.
“Although we have different desires for a family, we continue to have the utmost respect for each other.
“Chrishell is a special human being and loving her and having her in my life is one of the best things that ever happened to me.”
Mary, who once dated Jason and is also very good friends with Chrishell, has now spoken to The Mirror privately about the breakup.

Speaking alongside husband Romain Bonnet, Mary said: “It’s not that bad for us, I’m sad for both of them and obviously I’m trying to help both of them, so is Romain.
“We talked to both of them, neither of them did anything wrong, they were just on different paths.
“We’re there for both and we love them both and we just want them to be happy, and whatever it is, we’ll support them 100%,” Mary continued.

Romain added: “I think they want different things, they know they have different visions of the future, so it’s better for both because they can’t give each other what they want.
“I think even now that they’re in love, they know better than to stop.”
Mary later revealed: “And luckily both are very mature and both understand that we are both good friends, we would never betray their trust.
“We were able to make our advice based on our emotions and our knowledge of what was going on, so it worked out well.
“I mean there was a time in the early stages when they first broke up, it wasn’t fun to say ‘okay, we’re going to have this or this group’, but they needed space for a short period of time. But they’ve grown up, they’ve worked and everything is fine.”
Mary’s exclusive comments come after Jason admitted that he thinks season 5 will bring “pain” over his split with Chrishell.
Speaking to The Mirror earlier this month, he explained: “Season five will make me relive a lot of sadness, pain and loss.
“It was not what I expected. I’m not ready to talk about what happened to Chrishell, but we just want different things.
“Usually I am very good at business but now, I think about her every day. It’s really tough,” he added.
Sunset season 5 sale drops on Netflix on Friday, April 22, 2022.
