A SURGEON was moved to tears by her “dream” transformation on The Style Counselors as she reunited with her husband after two years apart.
During tonight’s show, business owner and fashion influencer Suzanne Jackson met surgeon Fizza Rasheed.
The 36-year-old ENT surgeon is Pakistani but in 2018 she moved to Co. Meath.
Fizza is passionate about her work at Temple Street Children’s University Hospital, where she spends most of her day exfoliating.
She says she rarely hangs out with co-workers because she never knows what to wear and doesn’t feel confident – but she wants this to change.
Two years ago, Fizza married her husband Umer in Pakistan. She returned to Ireland a few weeks later but largely because of Covid restrictions, she did not see Umer in person for a while.
She admitted on the show that she feels “lonely” without her husband by her side and that she can’t wait to see him again.
The plan was that Umer would soon come and live with her in Ireland and when she saw him for the first time, Fizza wanted to look and feel as beautiful as she did on her wedding day.
She said that she feels as if she has lost her taste for fashion and finds it very exciting to shop for clothes.
She felt that a lot of her clothes were dull and her wardrobe was full of unworn clothes. Suzanne is ready to help Fizza inject color and life back into her style during her reunion with her husband.
Suzanne gave her a taste of how to update her wardrobe and how to add more color to her look.
In the end, Fizza opted for a gorgeous red dress that had rhinestones all over it along with a simple clutch and black heels.
She broke down in tears as she talked about her amazing transformation as she admitted that her mother, who had sadly passed away, would be thrilled to see her new look.
Fizza said with emotion: “I like it very much. I really want you [was here] She would be really proud of me if she could see me like this today.
“I really miss her presence sometimes like moments like this.”
The surgeon added: “I think transformation is a very small word for what my journey has been like.
‘LIKE A DREAM’
“I wouldn’t even call it a transformation, this is a completely out of this world experience for me.
“It’s like a dream, like you’re just an ordinary random person and suddenly you feel like a celebrity.”
At the end of the show, it was revealed that Fizza and her husband were reunited after two years when he moved to Ireland.
