GMB: Boris Johnson asks ‘Who is Lorraine?’ in the interview

Susanna Reid ran into Boris Johnson this morning after he asked who Miss Lorraine Kelly was after the Good Morning Britain presenter wrapped up her explosive interview with the Prime Minister.

When the barbecue was over, Susanna thanked the Prime Minister for the interview at Downing Street.

She said: “It was good to talk to you. Lorraine is waiting to present all the issues you brought up in this interview. Thank you very much indeed.”

But Boris responded when asked “Who’s Lorraine?”, as he didn’t seem to know that Good Morning Britain was followed by the Scottish presenter’s show on ITV.

Susanna quickly replied, “Lorraine is a legend.”

The Prime Minister was scheduled to appear on the show at 8.15am but arrived late



Lorraine, who had been hosting her ITV daytime show for years after a long career as a presenter, was later seen in her ITV studio with a slightly taken aback.

She did not address the Prime Minister’s comments, saying: “Wow. Thank you Susanna. A master in a political interview. Great stuff. ”

Followers at home, unable to believe Boris did not know who the famous presenter was, took to Twitter to comment on the strange moment.

The moment followed a tense interview in which the GMB TV presenter questioned the Prime Minister about everything from Partygate to allegations of bullying and sexism in the House of Commons, as well as the crisis ongoing cost of living.

The GMB TV presenter asked PM about everything from Partygate to allegations of bullying and sexism in the House of Commons.



Boris replied: “I accept that those contributions from taxpayers won’t be immediate enough to help cover everyone’s costs. Of course, that won’t be immediate enough to help cover expenses. everyone’s expense.”
