Suspect arrested after man stabbed to death in North County Dublin

A man (aged 40) is on trial this morning in connection with an alleged stabbing that occurred in north-west Dublin on Monday night.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was presented at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown with “non-life threatening injuries”.

“Gardaí was called to the scene of an alleged stabbing at Ballymacarney, The Ward, Dublin at around 7pm on 26 September 2022,” said a Garda spokesperson.

“A man (age 30) was presented to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown where he was being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

“A man (aged 40) has been arrested in connection with the incident and is being held at Blanchardstown Garda Station.”

The man, in his 40s, was later charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear in Blanchardstown District Court at 10.30am this morning.
