Sussex Police appeal for assault in Crawley

A CALL was launched after a man was arrested on suspicion of assault near a bar.

The incident is said to have happened in the early hours of Sunday 11 September near the Medusa Bar on Crawley High Street and is believed to have involved several people.

A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual physical harm and possession of a Class A drug but was released as part of the investigation. The police investigations are ongoing.

Sussex Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident and have asked anyone with information to get in touch.

A statement from Sussex Police said: “Anyone with information can report this to Sussex Police online or call 101 and quote serial number 148 dated 11.09. quote.”
