Sussex Police are investigating after a man was seriously assaulted in Crawley
A man was seriously attacked while walking his dog.
The 34-year-old victim was found by police after the attack, which took place at around 5.30pm on November 2 at Willoughby’s playing fields in Ifield Avenue, Crawley, with wounds suggesting they were inflicted by a bladed weapon .
He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but has since been discharged.
Sussex Police said the suspect approached the victim while walking his dog across Willoughby’s pitches.

After the suspect attacked the victim but took nothing, a scuffle broke out.
The suspect is described as in his mid-20s.
He was wearing a tracksuit and is said to be unknown to the victim.
