Sussex Police are investigating an attack in Felpham Bognor Regis

A man is hospitalized with potentially life-threatening injuries after being attacked by three men in a parking lot.

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses following the aggravated attack in the car park of Felpham Village Hall on Vicarage Lane, which took place around 11.30pm on Wednesday (9 November).

A 46-year-old man was taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester for treatment of multiple injuries.

His condition is described as serious but stable.

According to the police, the attackers left the crime scene in a blue Volkswagen Golf.

The driver of the car is described as white, 6ft 1in, of medium build with tanned skin.

He was wearing a white baggy sweater and white sweatpants.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing aggravated assault and has been released on bail on strict terms pending investigations.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Officers investigating the attack are asking all witnesses to come forward, including anyone who may have seen a blue Volkswagen Golf in the area at the time.

“If you have seen suspicious behavior or captured any relevant CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage please contact us online or by calling 101 quoting serial number 56 dated 10/11.
