Sussex Police identify a man in the investigation into a Hasting hotel break-in

Police have identified a man they want to speak to after cash and personal belongings were stolen from a hotel.

The man has been linked to an investigation into a burglary that saw a person enter the staff quarters of the Chatsworth Hotel in Carlisle Parade, Hastings.

Sussex Police have released an image of the man they believe may be able to help investigate the incident between 12.30am and 2.30am on September 1.

The man is described as white, of medium build and in his 30s to 40s. He also has a receding hairline, short black hair and a full beard.

Anyone with information that could help identify the man is asked to report it to police online or call 101 quoting serial number 174 dated 09/01. to call
