Sussex resident Rev Richard Coles is featured in the Sky book club

REVEREND Richard Coles will be starring in a TV series ahead of the release of his new book.

Rev Coles, who has recently moved to Friston near Eastbourne, will be attending the Sky Arts Book Club.

He has just released his first crime novel, Murder Before Evensong.

On the TV shows, hosted by Andi Oliver and Elisabeth Day, Rev. Coles and other guests will discuss weekly topics and answer questions from guests.

Andi Oliver said: “This season is joyous, thought-provoking and utterly compelling and I can’t wait to share it with everyone.

Rev Coles, once a member of the 1980s band The Communards, has been a regular on television for the past several years. He is now also a presenter at Radio 4.

Other guests on the Sky series include acclaimed author Jeanette Winterson, known for books such as Why Be Happy When You Can Be Normal? and oranges are not the only fruit.
