Corrie Ince, Show Director of the South of England Agricultural Society, said: “I hope that all participants enjoyed the quality sporting entertainment, gained some new insights into our beautiful countryside and maybe even found a new rural activity to enjoy .

“It was certainly an honor to host such a prestigious competition in the equine community.”

The event also celebrated the late Queen, who was Patron of the Agricultural Society and whose affection for horses was known.

The displays at the show were reminiscent of her previous visits and also featured trees that the Society had planted on the show site as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy initiative.

The show celebrates agriculture in the region and supports society as a charity aiming to teach children the value of the countryside and to support those in the farming industry. Sussex residents enjoy the South of England Autumn Show
