Sussex welcomes winery and brewery bus service for the summer

Arranging a lift home will no longer be a problem for wine lovers as a new hop-on bus service is introduced, stopping at some of the county’s top wineries.

Great British Wine Tours’ service takes drinkers to Sussex wineries, vineyards and breweries on Thursdays and Fridays until the end of the summer.

The Sussex Wine Routes include three stations: Ridgeview Winery on Ditchling Common, Artelium Vineyard on Streat near Ditchling, Court Garden Vineyard also on Ditchling and Bedlam Brewery on Ditchling Common.

Hannah Simpson-Banks, Hospitality Manager at Artelium Vineyard, said: “We are delighted to be collaborating on this hop-on hop-off wine route, a first of its kind in the UK.

“Vineyard guests have increasingly expressed a desire for more sustainable ways to travel to us and greater accessibility to other vineyards and wineries in our stunning county.
