Tom Haines enjoyed “a special day” after completing two centuries at Hove in an incredible few hours.
The skipper’s second ton of the day against Glamorgan was part of an opening unbeaten run of 312 with Ali Orr not failing 185.
Haines said: “It was a special day. In the second innings the way Ali took down her spinners made it a lot easier for both of us and hopefully we can come back tomorrow and do the same thing again.

“The broken hand I had at the start of the season came at the wrong time for me personally and it was difficult to come back, but in the second innings at Durham last week I felt normal again so it was really gratifying to have the to get runs this game.”
Orr, 21, added; “Tom was really good because when I started I wasn’t feeling that good, I was traveling a lot. We’ve been in difficult situations this season and it was actually nice not to be batting under the clouds under the floodlights today.”
