SWTOR update adds weapon customization to Outfitter and tweaks flashpoints and operational balance

That Star Wars The Old Republic Team continues to update the game with new features and updates based on player feedback. The latest update introduces weapons to the Outfitter, renames several currencies, and includes some adjustments to Flashpoints and Operations.

When it comes to player customization, Update 7.0 overhauled so much about characters and gear as well as other options, but the team is slowly adding and tweaking some details. This update adds weapons to the outfitter, so you can equip a weapon that determines your character’s stats, but you can change its appearance to that of another weapon of the same type. Four customization options. If your character uses a two-weapon combat style, the same goes for two-weapon for that character.

Several currencies have been renamed to clarify where they came from:

Medal of Commendation is now Conquest Commendation

Aquatic Resource Matrix is ​​now Daily Resource Matrix

Hazardous Matter Catalyst is now OP-1 Catalyst

Thyrsian Production Accelerant is now WZ-1 Accelerant

Decurion Isotope Stabilizer is now FP-1 Stabilizer

Flashpoints and Operations are getting the balancing attention they deserve. Multiple Flashpoints see health and damage reduced for all enemies in Veteran and Master modes, while Spirit of Vengeance has the same change for Solo mode. Completing any Flashpoint via activity quest grants the correct 2 points for the Technological Advancements mission.

Operations have also seen changes, including an updated reward table. There are new Tech Fragment award numbers for bosses in Story, Veteran, and Master modes. Arenas and Warzones are also getting some improvements, perhaps most notably in the new progression paths where some daily and weekly missions now grant progress on loss. Wins count 3x, but losses don’t have to be just frustration with no value.
