Saturday Night Takeaway fans have been divided over a big giveaway on the latest season of the popular ITV weekend show, with many accusing guest Sam Fender of making a mistake.
Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are back for another Saturday night out and enjoying the hit ITV show.
Millions of fans have tuned in every weekend to see Ant and Dec in action, since the pair’s award-winning show returned last month.
As the Geordie duo made it to the end of Fleur East’s Chase the Rainbow segment, they presented the jackpot to one of the audience who went to meet the X Factor alumni in an undisclosed location.
The Rainbow Chase game sees viewers being run away from their homes and to a secret location if they spot a rainbow light outside their windows.

But when guest musician Sam Fender was tasked with picking the winning number for the jackpot, and announced it was seven while holding the ball up, many fans took to Twitter to say that the number was indeed the number seven. one.

One fan who has a crush on the woman who holds the number one spot and will win the award wrote: “Please give her the award” accompanied by a broken heart emoji.
Another fan suggested: “Defo number 1,” but another user disagreed, writing: “and that’s number 7…”
Ant and Dec previously announced that this would be the final installment of Chase the Rainbow this season, even though the series only started three weeks ago.
“For the last time in this series we’ll be chasing the rainbow,” Dec said.
