TalkSPORT’s Laura Woods brutally slapped a troll who asked if she had sex with footballer Adebayo Akinfenwa.

The 34-year-old presenter previously hosted the Super 6 podcast with the Wycombe Wanderers forward and has been accused in a lengthy Twitter thread of sleeping with the sportsman.

Laura defended herself on social media after some viewers claimed she was on drugs during the livestream TalkSport breakfast show earlier this week when she ducked out of the picture for a few seconds.

Accused of “sniffing a line” by a follower, Laura fired back, revealing that she was actually trying to hide a yawn as it was an early morning show.

“Damn it… I yawn you absolute donuts. It’s a live streaming breakfast show. Give your heads a shake,” she tweeted.

She was praised by her fans for her answer, but one follower decided to ask her a rough question.

“Is it true you fuck Akinfenwa???” they wrote, prompting Laura to respond with a hilarious comeback, “I’ve been waiting but he’s been too busy with your mom.”

Her fans were left in awe after the fiery response and applauded the Sky Sports presenter for her “savage” response.

“Poor boy just got slapped on Twitter and he got sorted with ease,” one wrote.

“Amazing if Laura Woods couldn’t get any better,” added another.

Footballer Akinfenwa even waded into the Twitter row as he praised his former podcast co-host for her sense of humor.

“LW is too fast for you (sic),” he tweeted, along with several laughing emojis.

Laura garnered support from hundreds of fans after being falsely accused of drug use, as one of her followers said the comments showed how hard it was to be in the spotlight.

“It’s amazing how quickly something as innocent as a yawn can be turned into something much worse. And with a cam on you, I’m sure people would still moan at a yawn live. People always find something to bring someone else up to their level,” they fired.
