Tally Labs is committed to expanding the decentralized content ecosystem with $12 million in funding

Tally Labs, a Web3 media company that oversees the business operations and infrastructural software development of Jenkins the Valet – a fictional Nonfungible Token (NFT) project centered around the life of a Bored Ape character – has closed a seed funding round in Announced value of $12 million.

The company has committed to using the funds to expand the intellectual property and commercialization of Jenkins the Valet to a broader range of entertainment media and to hire six newly advertised US/remote positions.

The fund compiles a roster of 19 investors, both venture capitalists and individual investors, deliberately selected for their wide-ranging expertise and knowledge, but primarily for their alignment with core values ​​of Web3 and decentralized content creation.

Investors include a16z crypto, Sterling VC, Dapper Ventures, as well as Dapper Ventures CEO Roham Gharegozlou, Odell Beckham Jr. and Allyson Felix, among others.

According to Valet Jones, the growth of Tally Labs will serve as “an evolution of the existing story” as “through the podcast, Jenkins will be doing a lot more things, discovering new places, and meeting a whole host of other communities.” with SALT Audio.

The debut release from the Jenkins world will be a fictional novel that will reveal the stories and secrets of the Bored Ape Yacht Club. Titled Bored + Dangerous, the book is currently being written by 10-time New York Times bestseller Neil Strauss with Democratic support of the Writer’s Room community via the Governance portal. The novel, available in both physical and NFT formats, is expected to be released in Q2 2022.
