Tammy Abraham has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Chelsea after his stunning season for Roma and has now sent a message to anyone interested ahead of his side’s Europa Conference League semi-final against Leicester City

ex- Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham sent a message to his former club Chelsea and Arsenal ahead of the meeting Leicester City in the semi-finals of the Europa Conference League.

On Thursday night, the striker returns to the English coast where it will take on AS Roma leicester at King Power Stadium. It is his first return to his home country since his 34 million pounds move to the Italian capital.

Since then, the 24-year-old has found impressive form at the Stadio Olimpico. His 24 goals in all competitions represents an excellent return and has secured his place in the club’s history books by surpassing Gabriel Batistuta’s record for most goals in a debut season with the club.

These displays have been noticed in the past First Leagueto. arsenal have been linked to a nosedive for the 24-year-old Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah It is likely that they will wave goodbye at the end of the season.

The Gunners have been linked with a move for a number of other forwards including Victor Osimhen, Gabriel Jesus and more. Elsewhere, his former side Chelsea remain a contender for his services going forward after including a buyback clause in the deal that took him to Roma.

It is reported that each deal could be worth up to £80million – although that option will not become active until next summer. Ahead of the Leicester game, Abraham has shared a message with his former side – as well as all interested parties – on how his game has evolved during his time in Italy.

Ahead of the East Midlands meeting, he said: “We’re going in strong, we’re going in with conviction and confidence. she [Leicester] play in a way similar to us.

“They play counter-football. They have very fast players who like to run. They have good midfielders who also like to find attackers.

“We have to go into the game with confidence. On our day, we can beat anyone with confidence. For us, it’s just about believing in ourselves.

“I’m going back to England. This is my game to show what I’ve learned after Italy. I’m excited! I think all my family will come.”

Abraham has made ten appearances for England since his professional debut in 2017. His current contract with Roma runs for four more years. While he appears to have fired a warning shot before facing Leicester, he also expressed affection for his current employers.

“The first day when I got to the stadium I just said ‘Wow!’ It’s an amazing feeling to step onto the pitch while the fans are yelling your name and the team,” he continued. “They are great supporters.

“From the first day I arrived I fell in love with Roma, with the team, with the fans – I fell in love. They made me feel like family from the start. Arriving at the airport and seeing fans there welcoming me was the first step.”
