Taylor Swift and Matty Healy alleged romance is said to have ended.
TMZ It was only on Monday that she reported that the two musicians had broken up after only a month of relationship.
A source told Entertainment Tonight they were divided over their “extremely busy” schedules and the incompatibility.
“Taylor and Matty broke up. They’re both very busy and have realized that they’re not really compatible,” the source told ET, explaining, “Taylor’s friends want what’s best for her and aren’t shocked that their relationship has faltered since they recently discharged from a hospital long-term relationship.”
Swift representatives did not immediately respond to HuffPost’s request for comment.
The couple caused a stir on social media in May after Healy was captured Participation in several shows at Swift’s Eras Tour in Nashville.
Reports that the two were dating followed shortly after the “Bad Blood” hit singer ended her six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn just a month earlier.
The sun also reported that Swift and Healy are “madly in love,” according to a source “close to Taylor.”
Twitter users didn’t hold back after rumors of a relationship between Swift and Healy swept the internet, with many fans expressing outrage and disappointment.
In the wake of the controversial ‘1975’ lead, Swift faced backlash remarks made about the sexual brutalization of black women during her appearance on the equally controversial podcast The Adam Friedland Show.
Swift was also heavily criticized after announcing a collaboration with rapper Ice Spice Healy laughed at racist jokes about the “Munch” artist.
The Grammy winner had previously been linked to the “I’m In Love With You” crooner. The two reportedly communicated in 2014 after Healy revealed to Australia’s Shazam Top 20 that she “numbers exchanged.”
“Let’s see what happens,” he said at the time.
Swift is currently on her hugely successful Eras Tour, which concludes in Los Angeles in August.
