Tea is a wonder drug that may lower the risk of cancer, heart disease and dementia, experts say

TEA is a miracle drug that may fight cancer and heart disease and lower the risk of dementia, experts have revealed.
A calming cup of tea may also reduce stress and help the body fight bugs, says extraordinary new research.
The brew booster will cheer Tea loving Brits who swallow around 100 million cups a day.
Tea leaves contain antioxidants that help remove harmful atoms from the bloodstream and reduce swelling.
The researcher dr. Taylor Wallace said, “This rich drink is one that people can easily add to improve their diet and live healthier, longer lives.”
The US Tea Council studied the benefits of compounds called flavonoids in black, green and herbal tea.
These strengthen the immune system and help it fight off bacterial or viral infections.
A separate Australian study found that people who drink between one and five cups of tea a day have a lower risk of dementia.
In the short term, the hot drink can also relieve stress and make us more alert and focused when we’re feeling burnt out.
And further research found that a daily cup of coffee can reduce the risk of stroke or heart disease by four percent and the risk of dying young by 1.5 percent.
Experiments also suggest that flavonoids may help reduce the risk of some types of cancer in the gut.
dr Jeffrey Blumberg of Tufts University in Boston, USA, said: “There is a growing body of research to support this tea can improve human health in many ways.”
However, another study warned that a cup of tea that is too hot could increase the risk of esophageal cancer.
Esophageal cancer is a cancer located anywhere in the esophagus, sometimes called the esophagus or esophagus.
Most people are over 60 at the time of diagnosis, and around 9,300 people are diagnosed with esophageal cancer each year in the UK.


A study, Released in 2019 found that people who drink hot tea are at risk of “thermal injury.”
Their analysis found that people had a higher risk of esophageal cancer when there was less time between pouring the tea and drinking the tea.
