The canal walk that Ashling Murphy was running when she was attacked and brutally murdered is named after a missing woman.
23-year-old man dies after being violently attacked along a canal in Cappincur, Tullamore, Co. Offaly, at about 4pm yesterday.
Fiona Pender, also from Tullamore, disappeared 25 years ago.
Fiona was last seen at her apartment on Church Street, Tullamore at 6 a.m. Friday, August 23, 1996.
